10mm Carbide Cutter

This 10mm carbide cutter is made from steel and is our standard brand of carbide cutter and is great value for money.

Carbide cutters, also know as a rema, are designed to tidy the hole already left by a puncture, making a neat hole with no debris and also allowing you to make it the correct size for your repair. It is important for the repair process to ensure there is no debris left in the tyre injury to ensure that the repair seals and becomes permanent. It’s advisable to use a wire brush or a buffing stone to rub the area afterwards which will help to prepare the area.

10mm is not for use in a passenger car tyre and is for use in commercial vehicle tyres only. However, we do also offer carbide cutters in 3mm and 6mm for passenger car tyres and 8mm for larger commercial vehicle tyres.
